On the day of the launch of Monaco Yacht Show - 2019, Dutch Heesen has announced the sale of the 59m Project SkyFall megayacht.

The custom vessel is scheduled for delivery in spring/summer 2023.

«SkyFall» will be built entirely of aluminium. This, together with the Van Oossanen Naval Architects Fast Displacement hull (FDHF) and the four waterjet engines with a combined power output of 22,000 hp, will enable the yacht to reach a top speed of 37 knots. This is an impressive feat given her immense interior volume of 900 BRT.

«This is the most powerful project by Heesen to date»," underlined the shipyard at the press conference.

The boat's experienced owner is passionate about fishing, which is why he wished to equip «Skyfall» « with a fishing cockpit».

The exterior too was drawn under the owner's watchful eye, who insisted on an aggressive paint scheme that emphasized the speed and power of the boat. He turned to Omega Architects for this.

The main deck features an intimate conversation area and an alfresco dining area on the aft deck. The large sliding doors blur the line between inside and outside seating areas.

In the bow, the dining area is designed for dinner parties with an elegant oval-shaped table accommodating up to twelve guests. Next door is the media room with cinema and games table.

Ten guests will be accommodated in four cabins on the lower deck, while the owner of «has reserved» the aft bridge deck.

Tenders and water toys, of which there is an abundance, are tucked away on the foredeck.

«Over the past few years we have seen a significant movement in the "50+" yacht market. I am happy to report that there is a growing interest in fully custom designs and we are very pleased and proud of the success of our speculative boat building program»," said Arthur Brouwer , CEO of Heesen Yachts.

Among these are the 60-meter Project Falcon, slated for delivery in 2021, and the 80-meter Project Cosmos, awaiting delivery a year later.

In total there are currently 12 yachts under construction at the yard, with delivery contracts running to 2023.

Coinciding with the SkyFall project Heesen has unveiled the first hull of the 5700 Aluminium class at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 56.7m vessel, namedProject Akiraduring design and construction, has a sleek and aggressive exterior by the same Omega Architects and interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard.
