The French Beneteau has unveiled the new flagship of the Antares range, the Antares 11. It is not difficult to guess that the boat is 11 meters long.

Like the other Antares - 6, 7, 8, 9 - «the eleventh» is a hardtop cabin boat with a closed saloon which the shipyard itself describes as a weekend motorboat for a small family or even a cruise boat. It looks concise and well-proportioned thanks to the efforts of Sarrazin Design.

Space and comfort are at the forefront, as evidenced by the presence of two cabins and a shower room on board.

The center island master suite is forward with a double bed and lots of storage space. The materials used for the bulkheads are alpine burl walnut.

The full-beam guest stateroom includes narrow windows that open from both sides. There is a double bed and a single bed on the starboard side.

«If you count two people sleeping in the convertible saloon, Antares 11 can accommodate» seven people without any hint of overcrowding. An accomplishment for a boat of this size.

The sunpad on the forward deck is ideal for outdoor relaxation. The bimini top has been thought of to protect from the relentless rays of the sun. As for the large aft cockpit, it is completely covered from above by the wheelhouse/ saloon overhang.

Given the initial design inability to equip a full-fledged fixed swim platform due to outboard engines, a folding bulwark came in very handy.

The modular cockpit was given a cushioned corner that flows smoothly into the same L-shaped saloon sofa, which is opposite the cooking area.

The saloon is very bright. And not only because of the glazing all around, but also because of the four windows in the roof, two of which serve as hatches at the same time.

The boat is powered by a pair of 300 hp Suzuki engines.

It will be presented to the public for the first time at the Paris Boat Show next December.
