The UK-based Fairline Yachts is pleased to announce the absolute premiere of Targa 45 GT at the January Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show. The boat is the successor to the Targa43 introduced in 1997.

A feature of the Targa 45 GT is the presence of a tender garage that accommodates a Williams 280 MiniJet.

This is unusual for a 14.2m boat and is usually found on larger yachts.

The 45-foot model is the smallest in Targa's line of express cruisers. In addition to the GT (Gran Turismo) version with a closed saloon, it has an Open version that Fairline introduced earlier this year.

The exterior design echoes the look of all contemporary Fairline models, drawn by Italian superyacht designer Alberto Mancini .

She offers a choice of several layouts, with the option of two or three guest suites, with the master suite located either forward or amidships.

The engine line-up for this model includes a pair of Volvo Penta D6 engines, each rated at 440 hp or 480 hp. The more powerful engines add three knots to maximum speed and an extra £20k to the base price of £519,000.

Joining the Targa 45 GT on the Dusseldorf yard stand are the Squadron68, Squadron 50 and F-Line 33.
