Pearl Yachts « is preparing to present their new 18.6m flybridge motor yacht Pearl 62 at the boot Düsseldorf 2020 from 18 to 26 January at».

Pearl 62 was announced at the Cannes show in September but only the renders were ready.

According to Pearl Yachts managing director IainSmallbridge quoted by International Boat Industry, at the time the first hull was under construction and three others had already been ordered. In the future, the yard plans to increase the production rate to six hulls a year.

Pearl 62 will be 0.8m longer and 0.3m wider than its predecessor. In addition to its overall size, Pearl 62 will feature a 100 litre (800 litre) larger freshwater tank, while her draft will be reduced by 0.5 metres to 0.98 metres.

The standard model is powered by twin VOLVO IPS 950 engines, with the option of replacing them with either an IPS 1050 or an IPS 1200. At cruising speed, the Pearl 62 will cruise at 300 nautical miles. The boat will be operated by joystick with a maximum speed of 33 knots.

As a bonus, owners may pay for the installation of a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer on-board.

The challenge for the Pearl 62's creators was to create a boat that is as stylish as it is functional. The outdoor seating area is forward.

For even more sunshine on the flybridge, a design option with a skylight in the hardtop can be chosen when ordering the boat.

An optional hydraulic swim platform in the stern will give owners easy access to the water.

Future Pearl 62 owners will also have several layout options available.

The main deck layout is not too varied. Guests can place the dining table in the depth of the saloon or right in front of the galley, which feels like a single space with the cockpit, thanks to the absence of a bulkhead.

On the lower deck, the future owners will have to decide whether they want to use the stateroom as a crew stateroom or as a storage for water skis and other sports equipment. The owners and guests will be accommodated in four double cabins.

The master stateroom will be amidships and will be completely open from hull to hull. Thus, its maximum width is 5.3 metres. It will be possible to get to the cabin through a separate entrance.

Pearl 62's base price will be around £1.25 million ($1.64 million).
