A young designer has created a yacht «Illusion»

A young talent from the USA, Jonathan Pease, drew Illusion, a 65-metre megayacht concept for the «Young Designer of the Year competition» held as part of the ShowBoats Design Awards. His work was in the top ten but did not win. Nevertheless, it impressed a lot of people.

The smooth, flowing lines, spiral staircases, virtuoso use of glass, the transparent pool hanging over the stern. The name Illusion is undeniably appropriate as the yacht is arresting and on closer inspection one realises there is more to her than meets the eye.

Illusion ends with a bathing platform that simulates a sandy beach. No cheating here - a spacious beach club for lounging in the water.
