Russian Open Sailing Championship takes place in St. Petersburg. 268 juniors representing 56 regions will compete for victory in classes «Optimist», «Cadet» and «Zoom8».
The strongest yachtsmen born in 1995-2005 have been allowed to participate in the competition; they represent 90 teams.
The following regions have the biggest representation according to the number of young sportsmen: Moscow and the Moscow Region, Saint-Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Samara Region, Volgograd Region and Primorsky Territory. Most participants - «» : 165 guys will race on dinghies of this class.
Races in all classes will last from August 12 to 17.
