The Russian Championship in Olympic boat classes ended on September 30 with medal races. The competition was held in Togliatti among boats of 470 class (men and women), catamarans Nacra 17, «Finn» and «Laser». The races took place in the harsh conditions of 4-17 knot wind, rain, hail and 6-degree air temperature. The results of the races are reported by the WPSF.

Pavel Sozykin and Denis Gribanov from Krasnodar Region won gold medals in the men's 470-oks event. At girls by a wide margin won Muscovites Alisa Kirilyuk and Ludmila Dmitrieva.

In the class «Finn» the best was Egor Terpigoriev from Moscow, who ensured a comfortable lead over his rivals.

The Togliatti crew of Maxim Semenov and Alina Schetinkina won in catamaran class Nacra 17.

The «Lase»r class was the most unlucky with the weather: the wind dropped and there was heavy rain with hail. Despite all the difficulties, Sergey Komissarov from Moscow Region won the gold medal.

About 130 drivers from 20 regions of Russia participated in the championship. The winners will compete for the right to participate in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Tickets for the Games will be drawn next year in Santander.
