Last Sunday, August 24, sailing competitions at the Youth Olympics in China came to an end. For the first time in history Russian juniors will bring home two medals at once.
Maxim Tokarev and Mariam Sekhposyan became silver medalists in the Techno 293 windsurfing class.
According to Mikhail Dubina, their coach, both Maxim and Mariam started well and fought hard all the races.
Argentina's Francesco Saubidet Birkner became the champion of the Games among boys in this class, the bronze went to Dutch Lars Van Someren. Among girls Linli Wu (China) took the first place , the bronze went to Lucia Bianza(France).
