The Australian shipyard has shared details of the new 515 SUV for the coming season.

Riviera is preparing to launch a versatile model, crossing functionality between sporty yachts and classic flybridge cruisers designed for family cruising or fishing.

The designers of the 515 SUV have experimented with a number of versatile design features which have been incorporated on Riviera for the first time.

The yacht features an elevated control station with good visibility and enough space to accommodate two 16-inch screens. The two Webasto hatches, located above the stateroom, open at the touch of a button.

The shipyard offers a flexible layout that includes three spacious cabins and two bathrooms.

Thus, the master cabin can be located either in the bow or in the stern of the boat.

The yacht comes with a pair of Cummins QSC engines with a Zeus 600 transmission as standard. Expected top speed is 29-30 knots. At a cruising speed of 22-24 knots the range will be 390 nautical miles with 10% fuel economy.

Optional Volvo Penta engines with IPS 800s or IPS 900s are available.

The boat design layout will be unveiled at the Australian Gold Coast International Marine Expo from November 1 to 3, and the world premiere of the 515 SUV will take place during the Riviera Festival of Boating in May 2014.
