Ben Ainslie Racing, the British «America's Cupteam », has entered into a partnership agreement with Siemens.
The partnership will see the PLM Software division provide Ben Ainslie 's crew with all the software they need, while Siemens engineers will help refit the AC62 race boat to make it more responsive.
Earlier Oracle Team USA announced about the partnership with a large company - the team secured technical support from Airbus, the concern which created the largest cruise airliner in the world.
The «America's Cup» will take place in 2017. Six teams - Oracle Team USA, Team New Zealand, Ben Ainslie Racing, Team France, Artemis and Luna Rossa Challange- have confirmed their participation. The venue is still unknown, but the latest reports suggest that the race will take place in Bermuda.
