RORC Transatlantic Race 2014 has started

On Sunday 30 November, after two postponed starts, the RORC Transatlantic Race 2014 participants set off from Lanzarote (Canary Islands).

The competitors will cover some 3,000 miles, cross the Atlantic Ocean and reach the shores of the island of Grenada.

The race involves 11 boats all belonging to different classes. The boats and their crews are expected to spend 2-3 weeks at sea.
