The best yachtsmen of the city determined in St. Petersburg

Last Saturday, December 6, 2014, «0 Poltava Shipyard» hosted the «St. PetersburgYachtsman of the Year Awards». Awards were presented in several categories.

The winner in the nomination «Yachtsman of the Year - junior» was Daniel Usachev, «Rautu», the winner in the nomination «Yachtswoman of the Year - junior» was Zoya Novikova, «Coach of the Year» was Sergey Semenov.

Among adult athletes Vadim Manukhin («Yachtsman of the Year») and Anna Basalkina («Yachtswoman of the Year») took the lead. Mariam Sekhposyan received the award «For outstanding achievements that strengthen the image of St. Petersburg as a sea capital». Peter Vladimirovich Gorelikov was encouraged as «veteran of sailing».

Besides, during the award ceremony photographers and journalists were mentioned. According to the jury, the best coverage of events in the world of sailing was given by the channel «TV100», and the best photos were taken by Alexei Ignatiev and Denis Razumovich.

Earlier the best yachtsmen of the world were announced. Russia and the world. Yevgeny Neugodnikov and Elena Kalinina were recognized the best in the country and Jimmy Spithill and duo Martin Grael/Kahena Kunzewere recognized the best in the world.
