On Sunday, February 8, Artem Broom, yachtsman and graduate of Saint-Petersburg Maritime Technical University, will hold a seminar in Moscow. During the event entitled «Fashionable or fast? Myths of modern hull hydrodynamics» amateurs and practicing racers will be told about the basic principles of yacht movement and also about the connection between the hull shape and speed.
The topic promises to be multi-faceted. The lecturer will touch upon hull shape, yacht modes, major trends and fashion.
