Here is the SpeedDream project, a downsized prototype of a larger yacht, which (possibly!) will become the fastest single-hulled yacht. Its ideologist was Vlad Murnikov, the first domestic participant of round-the-world ocean races and co-author of the famous Fazisi.
The international design team «The SpeedDream Team» believes that the new yacht will be able to maintain an average transatlantic speed of around 40-45 knots, at times exceeding 50 knots. With this performance, the boat will theoretically be able to travel more than 1,000 miles in 24 hours, which no other sailing vessel on the planet has yet achieved.
