Perini Navi, known for its sailing megayachts, has launched in Viareggio, Italy, the first boat in its new 60m series, designed by New Zealander Ron Holland. The 570 ton aluminium yacht has a new winch system which will improve her manoeuvrability at high speeds. The yacht was given a bird's name - Seahawk, meaning Pomeranian. One can't help but think of «theMaltese Falcon», the most famous Perini Yacht of the feathered family. Swahawk still doesn't have enough square metres of sail to take off. The yacht will be finalized in La Spezia where she will be launched after the finishing touches.
