Residents of the Azores could watch a mesmerizing spectacle this week: men and women were jumping off a cliff into the Atlantic Ocean. This is how the Azores hosted the 5th round of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series from a height of 27 metres. It was almost like jumping off the mast of a VOR 65 monotype, if any of the participants of the round-the-world series would have thought of such a game. For the fifth time the victory went to the irrepressible Gary Hunt. However, the Russians are not innocent: Artem Silchenko missed the podium by 11 points and came in fourth. There are three more stages of the championship, which ends September 26 in Bilbao.
