Designers do whatever it takes to prove themselves. Sometimes they create absolutely fantastic projects that are unlikely to ever be realized. For example, the Korean designer Hyun-Seok Kim, inspired by the mathematical regularity of the Voronoi diagram, came up with the concept of a 125-metre megayacht with a translucent partially enclosed hull. Her five decks are designed to house a spa, golf course, restaurants, bars, gym and cinema. But in practice, such a crazy boat is unlikely to be built. After all, a yacht shall be practical in the first place.
