After nine regattas, the Regates Royales, the final leg of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge 2012, ended in Cannes on 29 September. Some 120 historic yachts participated, a third of which were from the Dragon, the former Olympic class developed in Norway for more than 80 years.
Crews from more than 15 countries competed on yachts, some of which were built from the late 19th century to the present day: Shamrock V (1930), Marigold (1892), Kelpie (1903).
The Officine Panerai watch brand presented at the regatta a special series of watches created to commemorate this transatlantic race.
