Motor yacht A, the reincarnation

TamabaDesign has unveiled a 69-metre concept yacht with diesel-electricpropulsion at the Monaco Yacht Show.

The exterior of the concept, named Possible, is reminiscent of another iconic boat that has already become an icon, PhilippeStarck's Motor Yacht A. But with improvements.

The Possible features an 80-square-metre master suite with a glass ceiling and secluded outdoor deck. VIP guests also have a separate deck with two cabins with foldable balconies and a vast open-air deck for partying, watching movies or playing basketball. The main deck features a library with atrium, owner's office, three regular guest staterooms, gym and sauna.

The highlight of the yacht's beach club is a 12m pool with glass panels, surrounded by teak decking and a sandy area. It can be drained and converted into an additional 100 sqm of space for relaxation or parties. Closer to the bow, sections of the side raised up on both sides open up to reveal a large seawater-filled garage that can hold two 6m and 10m tenders, several jet skis and a submarine. In the bow is a helicopter garage. Another helicopter can be stored in a more traditional hangar next to the helipad.
