DixonYacht Design has unveiled renders of a bold 70m concept called Project NewDawn with DynaRig masts.

«The steel and aluminium boat under sail has a lot in common with traditional motor megayachts,».

For example, they share a large glazed saloon with access to the stern - directly to the pool surrounded by sun loungers.

A full-fledged cinema, spa with sauna and gym are situated on the lower deck, while the formal dining and meeting areas, including an alfresco dining space, and a relax area are situated on the upper deck.

The layout accommodates 10 guests in four cabins. The owner has a spacious full-beam master suite with private balconies. Eight staterooms are reserved for crew members.

Guests can use either a limousine tender or a sport tender. Both are seven metres in length. The crew can have their own six-meter tender.

The NewDawn also impresses from the point of view of the fact that it incorporates the most advanced technological solutions.

Of particular interest from an engineering point of view is the highly efficient hybrid propulsion unit and the energy recovery system.

The boat becomes even more environmentally friendly with the installation of optional solar panels on its roof.
