The wind - San Francisco's callingcard - drove the Rolex Farr 40 off the bayon the penultimate day of the World Championship with a low-pressure front. Competitors were forced to drift for several hours before the jury cancelled the race. The Farr 40 World Championship ended the next day. The winner was the boat Plenty by Alex Ropers, USA.
