Abu Dhabi welcomed Volvo Ocean Race teams last weekend. Six of the seven boats that set out to conquer the second stage finished - the blue monotype of Team Vestas Wind was wrecked in the Indian Ocean. The winner of the second leg was Team Brunel which covered 6,500 nautical miles in 23 days, 16 hours and 25 minutes. Dongfeng Race Team was separated from the leaders of the race and took the second place only 16 minutes. Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing won the bronze medal.
