The first boat show of 2015, held in London from 9 to 18 January, brought 400 exhibits under its roof, including models from well-known brands such as Sunseeker, Fairline, Bavaria and Princess Yachts. The centrepiece of the show was the 92ft Sunseeker28, valued from £4.763m. While Nicole Sherzinger of The Pussicat Dolls introduced the yacht, there were other celebrities such as Her Majesty Princess Anne who helped to create the catamaran Solent Whisper and Sir Ben Ainslie who received a cheque for £10,000 as a donation to the Andrew Simpson Foundation from one of the boat show's sponsors.
