In this photo taken by Carlo Borlenga, Emirates Team New Zealand veteran Glenn Ashby is carrying the main America's Cup trophy - a 14kg The Auld Mug - through the cabin of the plane that will take the team home. Did you know that Glenn broke at least two rules regarding the oldest sailing award? Firstly, the Silver Cup is forbidden to be touched with bare hands. That's why the trophy guards are always dressed in white gloves. The Cup is always flown by business or first class in a special Louis Vuitton case, a gift for the 150th anniversary of The Auld Mug. In the America's Cup, though, the winner writes the rules. Indeed: gloves, first class...Let's leave that to other, more bourgeois teams.
