A blackened sail

The largest yacht ever built in Holland has been photographed in full sail. The 106-metre Black Pearl was the first sailing project by Oceanco, a shipyard specialising in motor superyachts. She was handed over to her owner, Russian Oleg Burlakov, at the end of March 2017. Black Pearl is equipped with three pivoting masts (DynaRig sail armament). She has a steel hull with a Pacman bow and aluminium superstructure. Black Pearl has twin Caterpillar engines running her at 17.5 knots, but can be switched off and run on solar power alone if you wish. On board there are cabins for 12 passengers, two spa pools, a huge beach club and plenty of storage space for tenders and water toys.
