Eric de Turckheim's Teasing Machine was the overall winner of the 2017 RORC Transatlantic Race. Although not all of the record-breaking fleet of 23 teams reached the finish line, none of the competitors will be able to surpass Teasing Machine in corrected time any more. The 16.5m Nivelt-Muratet-designed yacht is the smallest RORC Transatlantic winner to date. Prior to this regatta it had only been won by maxi-sailors. This was Teasing Machine's second offshore race. The team has been in place for only four months prior to the event but has a very strong starry line-up with Laurent Pages and Jean-Luc Nelias as tactician and navigator. The Frenchman has considerable experience working with each other: together they won the 2011-12 Volvo Ocean Race with Franck Cammas. Allresults
