In 1935, Canadian Mois Cadorette opened in Saint-Jean-de-Sway a shipyard named after himself for making canoes and small pleasure boats. In 1989, the triumvirate of shipbuilders moved their production to the Grand Mayor in the province of Quebec. In 1999, Doral is taken over by Erwin Zich. Doral Boats, the middleman in the small boat industry, even today sells its boats both in North America and overseas (the company has representatives in 25 countries). The shipyard's range includes boats from 4 to 14 meters in length, divided into three categories: sports boats, express cruisers and an elite series.
