Perini Navi Andromeda La Dea Overview

Andromeda La Dea was the first Perini Navi yacht to circumnavigate the globe, visiting all the oceans, the Arctic and the Antarctic. Built for the famous entrepreneur Tom Perkins (the same who owned the Maltese Falcon) she was the third in his extensive collection of boats. She did not, however, stay with him long and has since had three more owners. Her present owner is the American entrepreneur Charles Pinckney Darby III, who has ordered a very thorough refit. A typical feature of Andromeda La Dea are her "multi-colored" interiors, so called because the color of the upholstery is not only bright, but also varies from room to room. Together with the "fuzzy" art deco style of the interior finishes, this gives the boat a smart, but somewhat eclectic look.
