Determined to surpass Aristotle Onassis, who owned the 99-metre Christina O, Stavros Niarchos has ordered an Atlantis II of the same type. Powered by twin 4,800 horsepower Pielstick engines, Atlantis II easily slips through the water at a cruising speed of 12 knots. She has only 12 cabins, but they are very comfortable and luxurious. Atlantis II is among the major attractions of her home port of Monaco.
