Ellen is a typical sailing yacht built by Perini Navi in the style of the mid-90s. Ellen's entire appearance is characteristic of this period, with a developed clipperstaff, long stern overhang with a large underfoot, and a broken pattern of glazing in the deckhouse. Perini Navi seeks to produce yachts in small batches with identical (or very similar) hulls and superstructures but the layout and finish may vary widely. The Ellen, however, differs greatly from her sisterships in that instead of a second access ramp to the saloon and a small wheelhouse, she has a huge deck locker.
The interior is made of cherrywood and bright fabrics - red, white and blue dominate. Curiously, the yacht is equipped with a separate children's room.
