Launched in 1930, this magnificent vessel was commissioned by Anne Henrietta, wife of British businessman Sir David Hule. In 1937 the yacht was seen by King Carol II of Romania. He was impressed by her beauty and elegance and purchased her for the Romanian government. After the end of the Second World War the destiny of the yacht was radically changed. She was moored on the Danube promenade and turned into a chic restaurant. In 2000 Nick Edminston and William Collier gave her a second lease of life and sent her to the Devonport facility, where she was re-built entirely under the direction of Remy Tessier, who took care of the interior design.
Previously this boat was called: Luceafarul; Rasaritul; Transilvania; Libertatea
