In anticipation of the long-awaited return of the America's Cup to New York, ItBoat publishes a shot from the archives of Team New Zealand. In this photo, taken in 1988, the Kiwi KZ-1 boat wraps around the Statue of Liberty. The America's Cup returns to New York for the first time since 1920. Racing in the fourth round of the America's Cup World Series will take place in the city from May 7-8. Teams will be treated to a changeable breeze, with Manhattan skyscrapers and strong currents that will make the stage on the Hudson River one of the toughest in the series.
