At the time of her construction, Hemisphere was the largest sailing catamaran in the world. It took a full seven years to build, which is an extremely long time for a boat of this size (you can discount the double number of hulls). For the first six months after her launch the owner enjoyed her for himself, but since the beginning of 2012 she has also been available from charter brokers, although the owner does not expect to charter her for more than eight weeks per year. There are a lot of features that make this boat unique, such as the diving board on the starboard side, which has a small ski-jump for diving. The interior trim on Hemisphere is exceptional, with 12 types of leather used alone. The wall panels are made of unusual items and for one of them we used shredded eggshells. She is also finished in several walnut, bleached wenge, marble, pebble and stingray skins. Another interesting combination of two large cabins is the forward cabin, where the bulkhead can be removed to make a single cabin, but a very large one. Such extravagances have their price - a week on this boat will cost more than a quarter of a million dollars.
