Vitters Shipyard bought the British Green Marine

The Dutch superyacht shipyard Vitters Shipyard has acquired Green Marine after long negotiations. The amount of the deal is not reported.

Green Marine was created in 1982 by Bill Green and Jan King and specializes in building sports and cruising superyachts with advanced materials. Green Marine yachts include VOR, America's Cup, IRC and TP52, including the Russian "Kosatka", ITA90 Mascalzone Latino and Prada/Luna Rossa. Among the famous performance cruisers in the Green Marine resume are Sojana, Leopard, Ghost and Cinderella IV.

The new owner is not going to change the shipyard's specialization. Green Marine is currently building three new hulls ranging in length from 60 to 140 feet.
