In the first part we talk about the most interesting cruise sailing yachts of the coming year. Which of these short lists will be the winner of the European Yacht of the Year award will be known as early as 2019: the award ceremony will take place at the Boot Dusseldorf.

Coast 250

The Swallow Yachts MotoSailer can be equipped with a 70 HP engine and can be driven at 15 knots. Looks good. The arrangement of an outboard engine looks even more marvelous - you will not find it on a transom. The engine is shifted to a middel, where a stationary engine is usually placed. For access to the motor, there is a fancy hatch in the floor.

With its top engine and top speed, the Coast 250 eats 20 litres «»of fuel per hour and can travel 56 miles on a single tank. At 6 knots, its range is increased to 90 miles. The 7.57-meter case has four full-size bunks, a compact galley and a separate garage. The boat can be transported by trailer.

Dufour 390

Circular, with a wide and flat deck painted by Umberto Felci, the 12 metre Dufour 390 is a good full course cruiser. The deck was enlarged, however, not for speed, but for interior spaces, with three different layouts, with two and three cabins, with two or three toilets. The «wealthiest» version, three cabins each with their own bathroom, means a galley.

The transom tilts up and turns into a swimming platform. Inside, there is a hidden storage space, and under the sofa cushions on the top, there is a windmill and grill, in short, a full outdoor seating area.

Hallberg-Rassy
340

HR 340 has come to replace the 342 model. The design of the boat is developed by the famous Hermann Frers. For better stability and to keep the boat on course, he increased the length of the waterline and rounded out the shape of the bow underwater body. The yacht also received the now popular vertical stem. The cockpit, like all Hallberg-Rassy, is well protected on all sides. For the first time the Swedes offer two handwheels in addition to the standard tiller.

There's plenty of room below deck. The master stateroom has its own separate bathroom, the useful area of the saloon has been increased due to the fact that the mast is located in the main bulkhead.

Mojito 10.88

The 11 m Mojito 10.88 is the older sister of the successful 8.88 model. Both boats are designed by Pierre Rolland. Mojito 10.88 has an interesting design for the tender garage - it is located in a niche between the deck and hull, which remains open from the stern when the tender is inside.

This design is made possible by laterally shifted rudder feathers, which add stability to the boat. The boat is delivered with hydraulic keel, which can be reduced from 2.8 meters to 1.1 meters. The layout of the lower deck includes two or three cabins. In the double cabin version, one of the aft cabins turns into a technical room.

Oceanis 46.1

This cruiser from Beneteau is distinguished by a unique edged hull, which not only improves the performance of the boat, but also allows you to maximize the boat's width.

The mast is 1 meter longer than in the previous version of this model, and therefore the area of sails is increased by 28%. The boat is easy to operate. All halyards have one winch located on each of the two control posts.

In the cockpit, there is a dining table for eight.

Elegant interiors with white oak or mahogany finish created by Nauta Design. Four different layouts allow for three to five cabins.
