The history of the brand

Nuvolari Lenard Design Studio is one of the most active and largest yacht design firms in Italy and worldwide. The company was founded in 1990 by naval architect Carlo Nuvolari and designer Dan Lenard. During this time the team has participated in about 250 projects, gaining fame for its refined Italian style and creative approach.

Philosophy

Dan and Carlo's work is definitely affected by their strong connection to the sea. Partners are not just professionals, they share a passion for sailing and spend as much time at sea as possible. They understand very well how to create a boat that will reflect all the wishes of the client.

Specialty

The portfolio includes both small production boats including flybridge and hardtop models as well as custom superyachts. The team designs interiors, exteriors and naval architecture with full preparation of technical documentation.

Cooperation with shipyards

The company has a long-term cooperation with Palmer Johnson, for which more than ten orders were fulfilled. Nuvolari Lenard also works with such giants as Oceanco, Amels, CRN, ISA and others.

Landmark projects

Many iconic projects have been realized in the history of the studio, including Alfa Nero, Blue Ice and Seven Seas (owned by Steven Spielberg). The largest sailing superyacht, the Black Pearl, is among the TOP 10 most expensive superyachts in the world.

The team

In a large office in Venice, Dan and Carlo run a team of 12 people. Simone Feltrin, project manager, helps them with this, while Valentina Zannier is responsible for the interior design.
