The young Swedish shipyard with its first model Candela Seven has gained worldwide fame, the design of the boat with its mature Scandinavian lines in high-tech style is the first to attract attention. A closer look reveals other interesting facts. The boat is powered by an electric drive and in addition sails on retractable foyers.
Amenities on board
The boat offers a decent level of comfort and is equipped with everything that can be found on petrol and diesel models. There is a bathing platform aft, a spacious cockpit and a pair of seats at the bow. Extendable foyles do not interfere with the rest, at low speed and parking they go out for the chair of the pilot and assistant.
Features
The Candela Seven is capable of speeds up to 30 knots, and at 19-23 knots it can travel more than 50 nautical miles at full charge. This high performance has been achieved through the use of hydrofoil technology. Also, the type of hull bowrider was not chosen by chance: it allows you to reduce the weight of the structure. Of course, the idea is not new, but the shipyard was the only one who managed to get out of the concept stage and establish mass production.
Swimming area
The boat is suitable for days-long walks in coastal waters and will save a lot of money without compromising the owner's needs. The electric motor requires less maintenance and breaks down much less frequently than fossil fuel.
