The Axopar 45 Cross Cabin is a versatile boat known for its triple 300 horsepower Mercury outboards, offering speeds up to 45 knots and consuming about four liters per nautical mile at 25 knots.
On Deck
The Axopar 45 Cross Cabin features a practical wet bar located at the back, efficiently serving the deck area without compromising storage space. The typical Axopar walk-around deck layout includes balconies amidships, which extend the living space rather than serving as watersports platforms. The balconies are manually operated with simple catches.
The boat has symmetrical side decks with good access from the helm seat to the side deck, though a boarding gate would have been a nice addition for easier pontoon access. The foredeck includes a lounging area and gullwing doors for enhanced access, ventilation, and natural light in the forward cabin.
Interior
The interior layout remains largely unchanged from other versions of the boat without the aft cabin. It features a triple helm station with digital instrumentation and joystick option. The innovative sliding wet bar and table system can be adjusted for different uses, providing flexibility in the living space. The forward cabin includes a sofa that converts into a bed, and a practical wet room head unit.
Aft Cabin
The aft cabin is a new addition to the Axopar 45 Cross Cabin, offering a spacious bed/sofa setup without standing headroom. The cabin features skylights and a window overlooking the outboard engines, providing natural light. The cabin includes back pads for comfort, reading lights, cupholders, storage, and an optional toilet, making it suitable for overnight stays.
The Axopar 45 Cross Cabin, with its new aft cabin, offers a versatile and comfortable boating experience. The aft cabin provides additional sleeping space, enhancing the boat's usability for overnight trips. With its practical design and innovative features, the Axopar 45 Cross Cabin is a compelling choice for those seeking a blend of performance, comfort, and functionality.
