Beneteau continues to develop its range of fishing boats with Barracuda closed cabin. After Barracuda 9 with a flybridge the public was presented with the younger, designed under the outboard engine with an output of 150-200 hp Barracuda 7. The French could accommodate in a compact boat a room for an optional sea toilet, a sink and a place for a gas burner under the passenger seat, and three very spacious lockers, not including a fish garden, in the aft cockpit. With a 200 hp engine, Barracuda 7 easily develops 34 knots, and on the transom there is an additional platform for a six hp trolling unit. The design highlight of the boat is a hammock, «which»stretches over the three seats in the bow cockpit.
The model was first presented in 2013 at a boat show in Düsseldorf.
