It is possible, of course, to go fishing on an old dural motor, having received certain pleasure from a fight with inhabitants of depths. But a person accustomed to comfort, will not be quite comfortable in such conditions, and the company Chris-Craft offers to combine the pleasure of his hobby with maximum comfort with the minimum size of the boat. The elegant Catalina 23, while retaining all the charm and comfort of Chris-Craft boats, gives the owner maximum practicality of a true fishing boat.
The spacious circular deck with central console allows for the removal of fish from any side, and twelve (!) rods holders accommodate all the necessary gear, up to the trolling spinnings. Behind the driver's seat is an 85-litre live aquarium with a transparent lid, in the nose is a V-shaped sofa, where you can drink rum at the table while waiting for a nibble. A small soft bench at the base of the steering console hides underneath not a trivial handbag, as could be suggested from the 7-meter length of Catalina 23, but a latrine with a chemical toilet Porta-Potti.
The 250-horsepower Yamaha at the transom is able to deliver the avid fisherman to the cherished fish sites at a speed of 45.7 knots.
