Glastron Shipyard has always been famous for its attention to appearance and speed characteristics of its boats. The 245 series confirms the company's image.
Like the other new Glastron boats, the 245 Series 2014 boasts a trendy two-tone roadster «style hull. One color is traditionally white, while the other may vary according to the owner's wishes. Red, orange, blue and black versions are available as standard.
As for speed characteristics, the model Glastron GT 245 is equipped with the most powerful engine offered by the manufacturer (380 hp) and can reach speeds up to 90 km/h.
The Glastron GT 245 has been conceived as a replacement for small sports boat owners and as an alternative to pontoon boats, as it is capable of carrying 11 passengers. It has plenty of space, as the large U-shaped sofa in the cockpit eloquently points out.
Above the engine compartment there is a sunbathing area which converts from a seat for several people into a lounge chair for one. All three models in the 245 series are equipped with tow rings on the transom for tubing, water skiing and wakeboarding. The cockpit floor hides a large storage compartment for skis. Additional storage space is available under all seats and under the steering console.
