The Bayliner 255 Cruiser is only 30 cm longer than its younger brother, the model. Bayliner 245 Cruiser. How can a 30-centimeter-long bonus give something on a 7-meter boat? The American designers thought it could. With the same bed-folding sofa in the bow cabin as the 245 Cruiser, and a stern cabin for two, the "big brother" has a slightly larger galley, where next to the fridge there are drawers.
But the main differences are in the cockpit. It became much more comfortable: on the left side there is a sofa - sun bed, in its aft part there is a small sink with a locker. Thanks to the folding backrest of the driver's double seat, the starboard sofa can be turned into either a large company seating area with a table or an extensive sun bed.
With the 300 hp Mercury 350 MAG, the bubbly Bayliner 255 Cruiser glides fun at a top speed of 37 knots. But gasoline consumption can be frustrating for the economical owner: even at a cruising speed of 27.4 knots, the autonomy is only 140 miles.
