Tankoa Y achts has unveiled the results of its sea trials and the first photos of its new 69-meter yacht Suerte, a joint project with Michel Karsenti's company Yacht-Ology.

Edoardo Ratto, general manager of Tankoa Yachts, praised Suerte's high stability. He said it is a rate of one in 40 produced models. The Suerte will be on the water for tests until the end of August, but Michel Carsenty has already commented on the first results:

«According to our predictions, the maximum speed of the yacht was 16.5 knots. However, these were based on calm seas and winds of less than 5 knots. The sea proved to be far from calm, but nevertheless our boat flew excellently for 7 to 8 hours and reached 18 knots. Also the vibration level is practically zero and the sound insulation on the boat is excellent».

The interior of the yacht is 95% complete. Margherita Casprini of Francesco Paszkowski's architecture firm is in charge of the design of the warm, minimalist interior.

At the end of August, after she has been fitted with all the necessary equipment and accessories, she will be delivered to the Côte d'Azur.

Suerte will make her official debut during the Monaco Yacht Show. In addition to her, Tankoa will also present two new 53-metre yachts, the S531 and S532.
