Russian windsurfer Stefania Elfutina won third place at Delta Lloyd regatta, which ended on May 28 in Medemblik.
Stefania lost only to China's Peina Chen and Poland's Sofia Nozeti-Klepacka, who already won Delta Lloyd in 2014 and was second last year.
«There was no set to win, we were testing the mate part, rolling tactical elements. The regatta went well, we are systematically preparing for August», - commented on the success of the Russian woman, her coach Viktor Aivazyan.
Among the Russians in addition to Stefania excellent result showed Sergey Komissarov, competing in class «Laser». He took fifth place. Another Russian Laser, Maxim Nikolaev, is on 18th place. In men's windsurfing Russia was represented by Evgeny Aivazyan, he was 21st.
Our country was also represented in Paralympic class 2.4. Delta Lloyd was the World Championship for Paralympians. Dmitriy Honich took 22nd place and Nikolay Ulyashev took 23rd place in the general championship standings.
