The largest yacht ever built by a Dutch shipyard left Flissingen this week for her maiden voyage in international waters.
The 83-metre Here Comes the Sun was first launched last July.
The timeless exterior of Here Comes the Sun, which combines Amels' heritage with features that are unique to this boat, was created by Tim Heywood. The yard chose Winch Design to design the interior. Onboard Here Comes the Sun, at least 12 passengers will be able to relax in the spa, watch a movie in the cinema or work out in the gym.
With two Caterpillar engines of 3150 hp each installed in the engine compartment, the yacht has a top speed of 17 knots.
Owner Here Comes the Sun has previously had other Amels in his garage.
According to the portal, this is Dzhaparidze's fourth boat. He also owned a 36.8-meter Let it Be, a 2005 Heesen Yachts, and a 47-meter yacht of the same name, which the owner exchanged his old boat for after little more than a year of use. In 2011, Japaridze purchased his first Amels, the 65.7-meter Imagine (also the name of a Beatles song). In 2015, he sold her for €69.950 million.
