Turkish shipyard Numarine, which produces planing and displacement yachts from 55 to 105 feet, has launched the first hull of the youngest model in its innovative range of expedition yachts, the Numarine 26XP.

The yacht made its world premiere during the Boat Show Eurasia which took place from 17 to 25 February in Istanbul.

The 25.68m Numarine 26XP is a compact yacht designed to enter the most popular marinas and tight marinas without losing her exquisite comfort.

She has a draft of only 2.2 meters with her propellers.

Designed by Can Yalman and Umberto Tagliavini, the 26XP bears a strong family resemblance to the XP series, most notably her upright bow and reversely angled windscreen.

The Expedition Yachts division, championed by Numarine, has developed an increasingly worldwide fan base with its concept of long distance, ultra-comfortable cruising. At the heart of the XR Series is a premium long distance cruising yacht ideology that delivers the utmost in comfort and luxury.

All of this applies to the lower end of the range. The first hull of the 26XP is designed in a semi displacement version. It is powered by twin MAN V8 1200 hp engines that enable the yacht to reach a top speed of 23 knots.

A displacement version which is not as fast but has transatlantic range is also available.

Powered by twin 1,120 horsepower CAT C9 engines, she can travel up to 3,500 miles on a single tank at a cruising speed of 8 knots.

The Numarine 26 XP has a very spacious interior with four cabins, including three VIP suites, a main saloon equal in size to a 30m yacht and a fantastic flybridge for a 5m tender.
