Swedish shipyard Nimbus presented the first model of the new 11-series. The world premiere of Nimbus T11 took place at the yacht show in Dusseldorf.

Thanks to the clever layout and a wide range of options, the Nimbus T11 can play many different roles: a weekender for a small family, a day boat for a large company, a boat for water sports and a tender.

The Tender 11 is the first of three modelsin the new 11Series. The name of the series is a bit confusing: it looks like we are talking about 11-meterboats, when in fact they are 12.5 meters long. In addition to T11 witha hardtop, we intend to launch Commuter 11 Coupe and open-top Weekender 11. The C11 will premiere in Autumn 2019 and W11 in 2020. All boats in the new series are being built at the facilities of subcontractor Nimbus in Poland.

The Nimbus T11 is a walkaround boat that can accommodate up to 12 guests without an overnight stay, with all 12 people able to sit facing the bow and enjoy a fast ride.

The cockpit seats are the pride of the Nimbus T11, as they slide, swivel and unfold, modifying this key social area according to the size of the company gathered and its needs. The swivel mechanism is one of the best we've seen: once unlocked by pressing a button at the base of the sofa, all it takes is a little effort for the sofa to stand up as required.

The cockpit is separated from the control station by a galley with drawers for storing cutlery and utensils, a sink with hot water and a recess for a gas stove or electric grill.

Spacious aft stowage compartment with 2500 litre capacity with hydraulically operated lid lets you store everything you might want to take onboard - SUP boards, wake boards, seabobs or a small inflatable boat.

On the bow is a large sunpad and sofa.

«The boat is not overly furnished, so the freedom of movement is noticeable everywhere on board»," says Joacim Gustavsson, chief designer of Nimbus.

The T11 will sleep four guests, two in the forward cabin and two in a smaller cabin amidships. En-suite shower and lavatory facilities will be separated.

You can choose from a wide range of engines with outputs from 300hp to 430hp, both outboard and inboard, petrol or diesel. With three 400hp outboard engines, the T11 has a cruising speed of up to 40 knots and can be optionally equipped with a gyroscopic stabilization system, joystick and solar panels on the roof.

Prices for Nimbus T11 start from 235 thousand euros (not including the tax).
