Last week, on July 4, at the meeting of the Olympic Committee Executive Committee there was determined the national youth team which will represent Russia at the II Summer Youth Olympic Games.
Then it became known that in the discipline «windsurfing, "Techno" class», Maxim Tokarev and Mariam Sekposyan will represent Russia. They will be accompanied by their head coach Mikhail Dubina.
«While forming the Olympic team it was important to select promising athletes able to really compete for the first places at the Games», - say the Olympic Committee Executive Committee.
II Summer Youth Olympic Games 2014 will be held in the city of Nanjing (China). The Olympics will be held from August 16 till August 28. Over 3 thousand sportsmen of 15-18 years old will take part in the event. The Russian national team will be represented by 84 athletes.
