The yacht «Selenga» was launched in Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia. According to the press, the 50-meter vessel belongs to oligarch Oleg Deripaska. The customers are «Irkutskenergo» and OOO «Baikal Yacht Club».

The construction of the vessel began in 2007 at Ulan-Ude Shipyard. Work on «Selenga» cost 400 million rubles and was fraught with a number of difficulties. Thus, in 2009 the construction was suspended due to the crisis, but then it was resumed. In 2013, the shipyard declared financial insolvency, which provided the customer with a lot of security. Nevertheless, the construction continued. In July 2014, the plant was declared bankrupt.

Despite all this, the boat is almost ready. At the end of the month it will be transported to Irkutsk - the hull will be finished there.

«Selenga» can accommodate 28 people - 12-16 crew members and 12 guests. Besides cabins for the owner and guests, the yacht has a cinema hall, a gym with tatami and a sauna with a swimming pool. The interior of the boat is finished with precious wood.
