A hydrogen-powered superyacht

Revolutionary 175-meter concept with a Norwegian ferry engine

Named after the Gaelic goddess of water, the 175-metre Acionna by designer Andy Waugh will be fitted with a hydrogen engine, similar to those currently being developed for Norwegian ferries. Acionna has enough space onboard for a full squash court, a 20-metre indoor swimming pool and a hangar for a helicopter. A unique feature of the new design is the open aft swimming pool with an 'island' in the centre that can be accessed via a bridge or tunnel. The water from the pool flows down the sloping transom to the beach club on the lower deck.
